NPO is proud to endorse the efforts of the Washington Initiative for Boys and Men to create a Washington State Commission on Boys and Men.
The bi-partisan bill (SB 5830 / HB 1270) is intended to produce policy recommendations focused on education, fatherhood & family, jobs / careers, mental and physical health, and the experiences of males in the court system.
With so many of our boys struggling for so many reasons, finding ways to help them live up to their full potential is increasingly important. The bi-partisan group of legislators that have already signed on to this bill show that they understand the boy crisis that is upon us.
